As most of you know we don't' let any grass grow under our feet. We flew to Denver, Co. on Wednesday the 23rd. Allie picked us up at the airport. On Saturday the 26th, Fred and Natalie and children, John and Abby and Madison and Tim all came down to the mountains.
Everyone enjoyed the visit. The kids especially loved the hot tub. Saturday evening we went to a local pub to watch the Cardinals beat the Rockies . Yippie.

we were trying to get a photo of the sunset but was difficult as the mountain would obscure it from my position.
Mom was helping to mend some quilts that Allie had gotten at a resell it shop. she had a little trouble with the altitude as it's over 9,000 there at the house. We had to keep oxygen on her most of the time. Otherwise got along great.
this is the deck that Roger built around the hot tub. It snowed the first day we were there otherwise we had beautiful weather. If you want to vacation in Co. you can look up the place on www.VRBO.com they live in Hartsel, CO.
Mom continues to celebrate and enjoyed getting to see the kids while we were there.
