Rex Plex Team

This is our motley group for swim on Monday and Wednesday mornings at 7:50 a.m. Great bunch of gals. Mother enjoys it so much she is up extra early on thoes days. Through the winter months there were a few times she had a bad hair day so we put on a hat. Then found it was helpful in keeping her warm. Last week the girls all wore hats in mom's honor. They forgot to tell us. :) Left to Right Nikki, Ann, Irene, Penny, Brenda, Sarah, Cathy, Mary and Carol. Toni, Pat and Sharon were not in the photo.

Valentine's Day 2009

Mother had a great Valentine's Day this year. Receiving cards from Elke & Glen... a musical card from Kay & Gerald. (PS Kay Sarah recorded on your card...:) Sarah and Fred were here on Friday and she brought mom some special Pancake mix, cookie mix and hot chocolate. She was in heaven. Phone calls from several of her children too


Saturday morning we received a phone call regarding a delivery and they brought her a beautiful bouquet of flowers, Teddy Bear and box of chocolates. These were sent from Michelle, Dutch, Alex, Shealyn and Aidan. She enjoyed it all.

Then she went over to JD's and Edie's to spend the night as Roger took me to a Sweetheart's Banquet. We had a good time and enjoyed the evening off. I didn't get any chocolate or flowers but my hubby did real good with a card. It said it all. Thanks Roger. Mom enjoyed playing games with JD and Edie. We picked her up Sunday morning and then went to pick up Opal to come out for a couple of days.

Virginia Feb 2009

I never get multi photos in order it seems. This is the WWII Memorial in Washington DC. We went there Saturday 02-07-09. It's an awesome site. The pillars represent the states. The far entrance is the East Coast or Atlantic and then there is one on the west side where I was standing.





As you can tell it was pretty cool that morning. This is the
kiddos all bundled up. The weather did finally warm up later that day.

They were just happy to be out and about.

Friday Alex had to go to school so the two peas in a pod and I stayed home and entertained ourselves. They are such a hoot. We really had a fund day.

Shealyn loves poses for Grandma. We took a lot of photos. They grow up so quickly. Talk she talks in full sentences.... tells you what she wants. Please thank you Great time.

Alex is the ring leader or should I call him Skywalker. Loves Star Wars. We read the same book everynite. Watched the same movie... how fun. Grandma loved every minute of it. We are chilling here watching TV
