June 7, 2008 Kay and Gerald celebrated their 50th anniversary. We went to Nebraska to join in the celebration

This is mom's 5 generations of girls. Mom 88, Kay 67, Karen 49. Malinda 27 and Addison 7 and Cadein 5

Elke & Glen, Sarah, Gerald and Kay, Roger, mom and Anne.

Another 5 generation picture with Melissa and her children, lil Joe and Meghann

Mom out in the yard enjoying a beautiful day.

We had such a great spring with lots of rain that all the flowers were beautiful.

Rose bush by the garage

Mom by the rose bush that Michelle gave me several years ago. It bloomed very well this year.

More flowers. I was taking photos constantly as something was in bloom all spring.

Our evening went way too fast but was enjoyed by all.

As I said she didn't catch one but we took her picture with one that Roger caught.

Mom used to fish with dad but it had been a long time.

Memorial weekend 2008. After being at the lake off and on for 7 weeks the water went down enough that Grandma could get in the boat with us. She loved it. The evening was beautiful and we had a lot of fun.

She didn't catch any fish as she would not leave her pole in the water long enough. I would throw it out for her and the next thing I knew she was reeling it back in.

May the 18th would have been mom and dad's 70th anniversary. Mom stayed with JD and Edie this weekend as she was having some trouble with her knees. Roger and I enjoyed a beautiful weekend on the lake fishing.

We took this picture just as the sun was going down.

Mom and I had been attending a monthly Stroke Support Group at St. Lukes. Due to progress and some outsiders taking over the recovery part St. Lukes discontinued this program. This was our last meeting and annual picnic there in Ballwin.

We will really miss all our friends.

I can't remember the date if it was April or May but Mylie and Regan were in a recital and mom and I went to hear them play. Both girls were awesome. Actually little naturals on stage.

This is Clayton Lyons. He will be ten in June. He is the youngest son of Roger's daughter Connie.

He enjoys going to the Lake with us each year. This year as the water was so high and the temp was pretty cool he and Grandpa went hunting for mushrooms. As you can see they found some pretty big ones.
